Nail Prep and Application
The way Just Pressed Nails are initially applied is essential to their longevity. Every set you order will come with a nail prep kit to assist you in getting the best application.
Step 1: Remove any product that may be on your nails already, including but not limited to acrylic, gel polish, dip powder, and regular nail polish. This will ensure nothing interferes with the nail glue bonding to your natural nails.
Step 2: Remove any excess cuticles that may be on your nails. There are different ways to do this. You can use the provided cuticle pusher to push the cuticle off the nail. Another option, softening them before removal with a hot towel, oil, or lotion and then trimming them.
Step 3: Once all the prep work is done, thoroughly wash your hands. Next, using the provided buffer, buff the entire surface of the nails until the natural shine is gone. Lastly, wipe away any dust with a brush or towel. Now you are ready to apply your Just Pressed Nails!
Step 4: To apply your nails for long-term wear first apply 2 to 3 drops of nail glue onto either your natural or the press-on nail. Holding the nail at an upward angle, placing it at the cuticle first. Slowly lower the rest of the nail onto your nail bed, and apply pressure for 10-15 seconds. Tip: Hold your hand away from you before fully sticking on your nail to make sure the nail is applied straight.
Step 5: Repeat for all remaining nails.
Short Term Wear
Do you only need your set to stay on for a couple of days or less? No problem! All of the prior prep steps (Steps 1 - 3) can be optional since they are used for longevity. I recommend applying one to two small drops of glue towards the cuticle area of the press-on nail. The less glue you use the easier and faster they will come off. Continue with Step 4 and 5.
